I am a lover of Florida sunsets, fuzzy socks, grilled cheese, and good books. I’m also a boy mom who knows more than I ever thought I would about Minecraft, BattleBots, and lizard catching. Although I am a homebody by nature, I married a man from overseas, and have found some of the greatest adventures of my life learning the language, culture, and beauty of his homeland. When I’m not grading papers, you can find me trekking through parks or combing the local beaches, enjoying the chaos of big family gatherings, and searching for the best words to describe it all.
